Silk Painting Design and Execution: Silk Scarf, Pocket Square

In this silk painting course, you’ll get to take home a handmade accessory! It could be a silk scarf, pocket square, or even a tie (!) if I receive your preferences in advance.

As with all my workshops, we use a "low-barrier" approach, meaning that anyone can start practicing silk painting at home after the course without making big investments! We will first design the silk scarf on paper, create gutta outlines, and then paint the pre-hemmed silk scarf, pocket square, or tie with silk paints. Once the fabric is dry, the painting is set into the silk by ironing it.

For this course, we prefer to have one workspace per participant. Each session can accommodate a maximum of five participants.
